We got this phone for my mom who is visually impaired and wanted a phone she could see easily. This one mostly fits the bill. The dial pad is large and clear. The LCD display is big enough to read and lights up when picked up. The call and end call buttons are very low contrast and incredibly hard for her to see–ditto the caller ID and phonebook but the silver band around that button makes it more navigable and we added some stickers to help make the buttons stand out more. The base is large but doesn’t take up too much space on a tabletop. Easy to set up, good call clarity, and lots of options for both ring tone and volume. Plus it’s a nice color which is so hard to find in modern cordless phones.

Purchased blue and red phones for living room/master bedroom. Phones look good, work well, good clairity, easy to use, don’t take up much counter space . . exactly what I wanted. And the price wasaffordable, good value. Thank you.

This phone set was easy to set up and I placed both phones in different rooms. The cost was a Great value. It is lightweight and you can walk away from the base and still hear well.

VTech #1 Silver (2) handsets. Was great phone and it lasted around ~7 years.VTech #2 Blue (1) handset. It was ok but I missed having an extra handset & it lasted just over 2 years.VTech #3 Silver (2) handsets. I went back to Silver and I am happy to have 2 handsets again.And I hope to get 7 years or better out of this second VTech Silver Set. This must be a great phone because it looks identical to my first one which I bought over a decade ago. All Smiles!

Years ago, I purchased VTech 2 phones with an answering machine. I never had a problem with it. They let me know when the charge is going down, so I just switch it with the one in the charger. So, I got this one for my bedroom. My only thing is that I should have gotten the blue one, just for the heck of it.
