I have been using this shredder since 2021 and have had no problems or issues and it is still running strong. I use it almost daily and have had no issues. You do need to be careful that you don’t put soft plastic envelopes through it as that can clog the roller cutters ( but they are pretty easy to clean if you do accidently do that). Overall I’m happy with this little workhorse and pleasantly surprised by the longevity and reliability. I highly recommend it.

Great little paper shredder, it works, if you have mail or docs that need to be destroyed this is what you need. It’s simple and it makes it easier than throwing your junk mail, letters and important docs being out there. Shred them all, I even shredded my marriage license lol, I’m happily divorced since 2019.

A grocery bag full of papers shredded without any issues. Small size means lots of emptying for this grocery bag batch. The noise level isn’t too bad when just tossing in a couple of items from the daily mail.It would be nice if the top clipped to the base for moving the unit. The handle is only for the top shredder portion.

I don’t shred daily; however, I use this shredder often and am always satisfied.This sturdy little workhorse performs well and is small enough to fit under my desk.From credit cards to mail to documents, this shredder is stellar.Thumbs up, and well worth the money.

I think all of these shredders are inherently noisy. But it is not like you are going to run them all day. This shredder does a solid job and is easy to use.

Very sturdy and does a great job shredding my confidential papers. Perfect for home use and a great size for a home office. I use it about once a week or once every 2 weeks so the limit of 8 papers at a time is ok with me. If you have a lot of shredding to do, might want to look for a shredder that will accommodate more than 8 sheets at a time. For me this is a perfect, good quality shredder that meets my needs.

I have probably used this shredder more than most families would use it in a lifetime. In fact, I’ll bet Ive shredded more documents than most small businesses. I’ve shredded documents from four families dating back to 1992 which equates to thousands and thousands of documents. These documents consist of 20 – 30 pages at a time and it just keeps on going. The only negative is that I have probably filled 50 35 gal trash bags with the shredded paper, missing them several times which required a lot of vacuuming. It’s unbelievable how many documents this thing eats without stopping until the bin is full. I have fed it some shredder lubricating sheets along the way, but not sure if those make any difference at all. I just wish the bin was larger. I actually wanted to buy a shredder that allowed you to feed more documents at one time, or one with an automatic feeder like you see on printers, but the automatic feeders probably only feed one piece of paper at a time so glad they were so expensive and I didn’t buy one. This shredder is more expensive now than when I bought mine, but if you plan to shred a massive amount of documents over the course of a couple weeks like me, or plan to shred a lot of documents over a longer period of time, I think you’ll be very pleased with this machine, even at $200!

I bought this for a small medical office. I had an older Aurora model forever, which finally quit working. I was hesitant to try any of these in this price range, seeing complaints about some of these being all plastic, not real sturdy, etc. My old Aurora was metal on the sides, and heavy, but seemingly more heavy-duty.I was going to try a different ‘name brand’ model, but I see enough independent reviews recommending various Amazon Basic models, so I gave it a try.Yes, this one is all plastic, but I really like it so far. The bin comes out from the front- my old model came out of the back, which was less convenient. I like having the window in the bin also! And- it is QUIET! I can shred things without worrying if someone is on the phone near me now. Much quieter then my old shredder. I like the wheels on the bottom too.I must have had my old one for well over 10 years- remains to be seen how this holds up, but it works much better. Two thumbs up.

I bought this 12-sheet shredder on the recommendation from my son (he also shreds small cardboard boxes to put in his worm bin…so you know it is strong) . I got tired of paying so much to shredding services and this is perfect for tackling those old records you can’t just throw in the recycle bin. I just spend 10-15 minutes occasionally to shred a few files worth of papers. I did buy 3-in-one oil to keep it lubricated, so it shreds like butter. My friend suggested using the oil, but to only use it when the bin was about half full…..so it doesn’t drip down into the plastic bin.
