VM95 Series Elliptical Replacement Stylus
0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical replacement stylus for AT-VM95E cartridges.
Elliptical diamond stylus follows the groove modulation with greater precision compared to a conical stylus, offering improved frequency and phase responses whilst reducing distortion.
VM95 Series – Styli Compatibility
Every cartridge diamond stylus becomes worn after a period of play. Around 500 hours for a conical stylus, 300 hours for an Elliptical stylus, 1000 hours for a Microlinear stylus, and 800 hours for a Shibata stylus.
Our VM95 Series dual moving magnet cartridges can be used almost forever by replacing the interchangeable stylus. It is no longer necessary to purchase a complete cartridge when your diamond is worn out, you can simply buy the matching replacement stylus, but also enjoy the experience of upgrading your cartridge with a different stylus.
The six models of VM95 Series cartridges all use the same electromagnetic engine-body, therefore each of the six replacement styli are perfectly compatible.

This needle broke on my record player after my son got into it. I ordered this part and love it. It’s affordable but not out of my range and produces good quality sound without scratching up my records. I’m not an audiophile but I like my records and my player which is a 300 dollar audio technica that I love and plan to keep for a long time. This should and will last a long time if you keep it away from your toddlers. Lol

I watched a youtube video to know how to remove and install new “needle” on my turntable. Really easy, took literally 60 seconds to install. Sounds great. I considered buying a cheaper aftermarket stylus, but I’m really glad I got the OEM part b/c the sound from the stylus is so incredibly important. This works great, fits great, sounds great, very happy and recommend it!

It’s an exact replacement for the stylus that originally came with my turntable. As is normal, the old stylus got worn and my records weren’t sounding as clear as they used to and the stereo separation wasn’t as dramatic as it should have been. But with this replacement, everything sounds great again.

I’m not an audiophile. I’m an average guy with an average ear, who loves to play vinyl (probably for nostalgic reasons). This replacement stylus, which I believe is also the model packaged with the Audio Technica I have, has a nic crisp sound with a lifespan one would expect in this price range.
