These headphones are awesome! Originally, I was looking for Bose-like headphones. I bought BOHM ones (off of Amazon) to try, and ended up returning them because there was no visible noise-cancellation (and they were close to $100). These have better noise cancellation – they definitely do not silence people around you, but they do make things quieter, even without music playing. With music playing, you can pretty much zone out, which is pretty much perfect. I’ve also tried a more expensive pair of Sony Headphones (they were close to $200) – I would say that the noise-cancelling feature is pretty much the same… at least, I didn’t notice much of a difference between the two quality-wise. The more expensive Sonys were better quality in terms of material, look, and the speakers encapsulate your ears more effectively. But for the price, I would overwhelmingly choose these ones!As an example, I’m currently writing this review in my apartment with the dish washer and dryer running… they’re pretty loud. When I flip the noise-cancel switch (I don’t have any music playing), the humming is gone, but I can still hear the swishing of the water in the dishwasher. These headphones are perfect for when you’re on the ‘quiet’ floor of the library, and that one person starts eating a bag of carrots… ugh that’s the worst!I also like how they fold up, I’m in college, so I just smoosh them into my backpack. They’re much more comfortable than earbuds for studying, they don’t hurt your ears.Side note: I definitely prefer these to bluetooth headphones – you don’t need to charge them, all you need is a single battery.Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase. These are inexpensive, functional, and have great sound quality!

I am quite impressed with these headphones, both in terms of sound quality and noise cancellation. Mid-range and highs are clear and bass is stronger than I expected. They sound better than anything I’ve tried in this price range and beat somewhat more expensive headphones. As for noice-cancellation, there is an obvious reduction in external volume. Although, these seem to block lower frequency sounds more effectively which I expect will make them useful for air travel. Again, they’re better than what I’ve seen in the price range. However, for $100 you can get Audio-Technica’s that offer a big jump in noise-cancellation.Comfort is decent, but not great. The headband is hard plastic, so that’s one pressure point. The cups aren’t bad, but being on-ear they eventually cause discomfort. Although, I was able to wear them comfortably for over an hour. I have had worse experience with other headphones, but it’s probably on par with many on-ear designs.I can’t yet speak to durability. They seem reasonably well designed and arguably better built than many other headphones you’d find for the same price. The plastic certainly feels better. The important takeaway is that for the price you really can’t go wrong. You’re going to be hard-pressed to find headphones of comparable quality for the same price, and those won’t have noise-cancelling functionality.

My 8 year old has trouble focusing in class during computer time. We had standard set of headphones for her and she was struggling. Headphones have been such a good thing for her. Since she’s had the headphones she can focus better on the computer work. Both her teacher and I like that they cancel out a lot of the class noise (which was her biggest complaint) but she can still hear if the teacher is trying to get her attention. I wouldn’t say they are true noise cancelling, but they’ve done great for what we want them to be.

These work very well and I’m excited that I tried them. And for the price they can’t be beat. I do have to say that the noise cancelling is a bit weak but I compared them to 250.00 types so that isn’t really fair. They do give some relief but in general the calls and sound is very clear and better than a pair that I paid over twice for. If you are on a tight budget and you need phones with these features then these are a winner.

This is the 2nd pair of these headphones I’ve purchased. I’ve used the 1st pair when traveling the past 2 years without a problem. This pair is for my wife who liked mine & needed them for a mid-February trip to South America. Buy these if you need wired noise-cancelling head phones & don’t want to spend a ton of money. You can usually find them on Amazon at a nice discount.

I use it for OFFICE ZOOM/TEAMS SESSIONS- knocks out background noise ..to focus on the presentations- comes with airline-type dual-Jack plug adapter- folds flat and small- sleek black finishShortcomings – Cable too short to lean back in the office chair- Ear muffs… small and do not completely cover your ears

Having a separate battery in the headphones is gonna take some getting used to. It’s my own fault that it died, but only after I used them extensively and never turned the power off for 5 days straight. I’m sure had I turned them off when not in use id be fine.Sounds excellent without batteries too
