Buy this cable in addition to the 45 watt Anker Ace, which I believe is also called the Anker 313. This combo will allow you to get Super Fast Charging 2.0 if you have an Ultra model phone. The cable itself seems sturdy and thick, it has a nice texture to it.

To avoid the high cost of Apple replacement products, for my MacBookPro’s power needsI tried this cable. After 6 months non-strenuous use in a single physical location, it failed when connected between a standard Apple charger and a MacBookPro. I checked all the other possibilities — charger, connection, etc. Unfortunately, it had a failure, which I believe is very unusual. I have many Anker products which have never given me a problem. I reported this issue and Anker’s excellent customer service was quick to send a replacement. The cable itself is very well made– better than Apple’s– and the connectors are actually firmer than Apple’s. I’d certainly give this a try if you’re in the market.
