It showed up today and I installed it on my 2018 Gatortail. It worked great. The wiring diagram on the back of the stereo itself was awesome and made it very easy.

Installation didn’t go as smooth as expected, but once installed, works as advertised. I installed an amp with it, so the sound is great. Only thing it seems to lack is a fade selection for front and rear. Manual says it exists in menu, but that menu option does not come up on mine. I’ve got left to right fade, but no front to rear. So lets get to installation issue:I ended up sending the first unit back to Amazon because I thought it was defective. Turns out, I didn’t have it installed correctly. I’ve installed numerous radios in boats and cars in my life. The directions were not very clear on what do do with the yellow wire. My previous marine radio didn’t even have one. Well, you must connect the red AND yellow wire to 12v power or the radio will not work. Directions were worthless, but thanks to Google, figured it out.

This radio was easy to install and works great. I also purchased Cover – Smoke Colored Heavy Duty Boat Radio Protector Shield with Flip-up Door and I am very pleased with both radio and radio protector.This radio is a great buy . For $38.00 you can’t go wrong. Is it the best radio you can buy no, But for $38.00 you can’t find a better one. If you are looking for quality of a $200.00 radio this is not it. I found it to a better radio than I expected and it had all the features you would expect from a more expensive radio. So yes I would recommend this radio to anyone who is looking a good radio at a good price. It is easy to install and easy to setup. 5-stars

I don’t write a lot of reviews. I expect products and services to be as presented/advertised, and if they meet my expectations, I don’t feel the need to comment further. My factory Jensen MS2A radio failed in less than 2 years after purchasing our Sun Tracker pontoon. I didn’t even receive the courtesy of an email reply from Jensen after sending an inquiry, and when I called their customer service number, I got a recording saying to leave a message.I resigned myself to purchasing a replacement and was NOT going to buy another Jensen. I saw this Pyle and thought “how good can it be for $40?” but it fit the opening and felt I could always return it if dissatisfied. I’m handy, and while splicing the wiring harness from the radio to the boat was a bit of adventure, that’s not a criticism of the radio. Just a fact of life when you replace with a different product. I retained the factory speakers which I considered kind of “meh..” and quite frankly was shocked at the sound of the Pyle. Easily as good as the Jensen and, for my tastes, noticeably better. The EQ settings are varied and useful. It has every feature of my Jensen plus a remote, which is great because I regularly fish from a front seat away from the radio. Time will tell how reliable it will be, but if this lasts at least as long as the Jensen, I will consider it money well spent.

My product arrived today and surprised me in several ways. Imagine receiving a product now a day that actually 1) comes with a manual and 2) the manual does NOT need to be translated or require a magnifying glass to read. This radio did require me to change the power plug from my old radio, but was simply splicing 4 wires into the jack. Speaker plug was the same and required no modifications. Manual gave detailed instructions on ALL aspects of the set up and installation. Radio worked great and blue tooth connected with my android with no problems. Although I did not have a chance to try the SD or USB connection yet, I am fairly certain that there will be no problems with those. Highly recommend this radio to all boat owners

Bought this for my Rzr, I wanted more than just blue tooth as I like to listen to the radio too. Install was easy simple to wire up. It does get a little hard to adjust the controls while bouncing around. The display is easy to see in bright light and not too bright at night. For the price I couldn’t be happier.
