I loved that I received the item fast and in great condition. My speaker depth assumption was wrong and they won’t fit without boring a larger hole in the doors to accommodate the magnet. I would like an exchange for the slim series. If possible.

I hooked 2 of these to a pioneer head unit 22 watt rms, these sound so loud and clear. Any volume and they’re clear and loud.Be careful these will 100% damage your hearing if you go to loud.Installed in GF Chevy Malibu 2011, replaced both door speakers with these. Sounds great! She couldnt be happier. We did not use a aftermarket amp or head unit. They still sound very loud and clear.

I replaced a blown DIAMOND speaker. Was 800 $ for the set. Sadly , I can’t tell the difference between this and my diamond which the other one is still in my other door. As a musician I know good sound and have a great ear. So this is either really good or diamond is crap. Or diamond just had really good crossovers. Lol. Which are as big as small amps now a days. But yes this speaker impressed me.

These are loud mids! They do still play the highs pretty decently, but I use them exclusively for mids. If you’re gonna hook these up to any system, SUPER TWEETERS ARE A MUST!

if you have a DVC 4 ohm subwoofer. this speaker will allow the sub to work at 4 ohms. instead of 2 or 8 ohms.if you wire it correctly you should get an awesome sound. I bought it for a Home audio system, I used a Skar audio 6.5 4 ohm sub-DVC connected in parallel with DS18. you can’t go wrong. this speaker is far better than Skar audio 6.5 midrange.

Installed these speakers into a 2007 nbs Silverado 1500. Sound great. Truck had Bose sound system from Factory snd these speakers sound better and have more bass than the stock Bose.
