At the time I had a large phone and the out front thing looked like my bike was more phone than bike. Instead, I got the mount that goes on the stem. Which is basically the same kind of mount with the same functionality, but on the stem my phone didn’t stick out like a sore thumb. IN any event, I used it for about 3 years and fell in love with it. It is an ingenious device. Great to carry a phone securely, wonderful for using the GPS on your phone, very secure. I can recommend quad lock. It’s a little pricey, but it’s worth it. A few weeks ago I fell over on the bike and the stem mount broke. Now I use a Garmin which comes with its own mount so I don’t need quad core anymore. But if you’re sitting on the fence, I say don’t hesitate to try it out.

The mount is very easy to install and it is very stable. I wish that I had started with this system.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to install and works PERFECTLY with my Quad Lock case on my iPhone. One time I few over my handlebars while riding(wrecking) my mountain bike and after making sure I didn’t break any bones I went to check my bike. Yep, phone stayed on the mount. Best investment ever.Bonus feature: if you angle the phone correctly you can do a 0.5 zoom recording and get some sweet videos riding down the trail while it’s mounted.

This will probably work great for most smaller phones, or if your quadlock mount is centered on the back of your phone. For me, not so much. I think it’s because 1.) I have a bigger phone, iPhone 11, and 2.) My stick-on mount is toward the bottom of the phone. The standard spot is in the back center. The attaching and detaching worked great. I like the location of it on my bike. I think most people would be happy with this.In my case, I already had the “handlebar/stem mount” for one of my bikes, but I wanted this fancier out-front mount for my road bike. I’ve never had problems with my stem mount. I think it’s because it has a different attach/detach mechanism. With this Out Front Bike Mount, my phone popped off FOUR TIMES. Right onto the asphalt. Thankfully, my Otterbox case worked like a charm. But no matter how much I tightened the hex bolt, my phone kept popping off. I found myself biking more cautiously avoiding bumps, always worried my phone could pop off.I’ve returned this and have bought a second stem mount. It’s more secure, especially given my unconventional phone back-mount decision.

I love this mount, it’s great for both holding my phone and my go pro with the extra mount attachment. I’ve enjoyed it very much on both road and mountain trails. I recently took a bad fall down a trail which caused the phone to pry off the mount which broke the mount. The phone had a minor scratch, can’t fault the mount for my fall. Customer service is replacing the broken parts and even asked if my phone case needed replacement. It didn’t but wow, they’re great. I definitely recommend this if you like having your phone in few to track your rides.

Ease of Use
Celeste K Jacroux –
Super quality, sturdy, and versatile fitting.

Very secure fit for the phone and very little vibrations on a road bike. My only advice is: If you plan to use it with bike light attached, get the pro version, which has more clearance. I had to shave off some plastic from my Nightlite for proper fit.

I just bought this product, and it seems like a good one. Unfortunately, I have to return it because it is NOT compatible with Rokform cases. There’s some misinformation about that in Amazon postings. Only use this case with Quadlock not Roklock. Even though they look like identical locking mechanisms, they’re just different enough to not be compatible. Good luck.

Didn’t know what to expect. I knew I wanted a bike mount for my mountain bike for easy access during my rides. I already had a quad lock phone case, so this made sense to get the bike mount as well. Welp, first day riding with it, I took a decent spill and I thought for sure my phone would be wrecked and I would immediately regret installing this on my bike. After recovering and going back to my bike, I saw the phone unclipped from the mount and was in great condition! I think that’s a great way to save your phone from just getting destroyed. Love this product and I’ll never take it off my bike from here on out.
