It’s a good little magnetic mount for most phone use. I’m using mine as a base for an XM Onyx radio and it is probably just a hair too heavy for the pivot part of the base. On any abrupt highway bump the XM was tilting forward and down slightly, but I simply pulled it back up to hold it’s orientation again until the next hard bump. It holds fine to a flat surface on the dash with good suction, but even with the tacky surface of the suction cup it had trouble staying in place on the textured padded part of my dash. Your mileage may vary depending on the texture of your dash, but it should hold fine on a glass surface.

My son recommended these to me after using them while working in Saudi Arabia. The temperatures there get up to 115 degrees in the daytime and sand buildup makes the roads rough. He said these mounts held up well under those conditions. I’ve been using them in my car here in the US for years, and they work really well. I recently noticed that Costco now sells this brand in their stores, so they must be pretty good. It’s really important to have the location on your windshield super clean where these will be mounted, as the inside of your windshield can have a lot of gunk that will hamper suction. Mine came with an alcohol pad for this purpose. Don’t forget to use it….

I’ve started using this phone mount in rental cars when I travel, and it’s perfect.I’ve used a Magnetic Vent Hook phone holder for several years. It worked great until I ran into some rental cars where the vents were weird enough that it wouldn’t work. I bought this suction cup mount, and it has worked every time. From what I can tell, as long as the car has a windshield, I’ll be fine.The magnet is very strong. It holds my iPhone 15 Pro with its case firmly. In all the times I’ve used it, the phone never shook free of the magnet, and the mount stayed stuck to the windshields until I chose to remove it. And when the suction cup gets dirty all it takes is a quick rinse and slightly less quick air dry to make it good as new.As final pluses, the mount is compact and fits easily in my carry-on, and it’s cheap enough that if it should get left behind, it’s not that big a deal to replace.And FWIW, I get that most cars these days allow me to connect even my iPhone to the built-in display. However, the last thing I want to do after a long flight is figure out how to get my phone linked. With this mount, I stick it to the window, stick my phone to it, and I’m off and running.

This thing was so incredibly difficult to remove from the glass desk top! I didn’t know the base has a refreshable tacky base on the suction cup portion. If I were to use a suction cup phone mount on my windshield, this would be it! If you get it dirty, just wipe it off with a wet nap. Once it dries, it’s tacky again. There tacky base itself holds the mount enough you almost don’t need the suction cup. I was tired of my phone stand moving around when I’m working at the desk trying to use the touch screen, this was the problem solver.The magnets are seriously strong, and the rubbery pad is a nice touch to prevent damage. If I could give 4-1/2 stars; it’s only because you can’t adjust the strength of the swivel mount. If it loosens over time… It renders the pivot useless. Otherwise, I really like this little mount! I would get a second for my vehicle.

This thing is amazing , I work for an amazon dsp use it everyday . You can stick and unstick as many times as you want because its made out of some sticky material that leaves no residue behind. You can stick it anywere doesnt matter if on your window or your dash .

These work great for me.I usually mount them where the edge of my phone sits on the dashboard and this mount just keeps it in place, without holding the phone’s weight.Perfect for using dashcam software and map.
