This is a replacement battery for my ceiling fan remote and it lasts a long time. The remote is now a necessary accessory. So easy to order from Amazon and have it delivered instead of searching in local stores.

For me, the battery is used in a car alarm fob that stays on my car/home key chain, tucked in my pants pocket (maybe not necessarily the best area as the fob buttons may get pressed and run down the battery; not good news as the particular alarm system also kills the ignition). Not a standard for fobs, maybe, but the system has many years on it. Still, this is what it needs, so…
