The sound from this stereo is quite good when paired with the right gauge wiring and some good quality speakers. The pioneer app is hit and miss especially when it comes to an iphonr, several times it would literally forget the stereo and you would have to go into the app amd start all over with pairing the stereo to your iphone . i personally stopped using the app and just connected my iphone via the usb port on the front of the stereo. I have no more issues when i connect my phone directly

Pioneer brand has always been and still is a tried and true company. Item arrived quickly. Very simple installation. Setup and connected Bluetooth instantly. Stereo sounds amazing! Phone calls via Bluetooth are very clear on either end. JUST BUY IT ALREADY! 🏆✌️

Upgraded my old pioneer radio after it pooped itself. Installation was very straightforward, and controls are very intuitive. It syncs well with my iPhone via bluetooth, but the recommended Pioneer phone app is absolute rubbish. Not only that, when working through the app, bluetooth keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. If you just use standalone bluetooth to play music, or aux, this radio is great.

I installed this in my 1985 Suzuki Sidekick for the Bluetooth connectivity. The Bluetooth works great thru Pioneer’s “Smart Sync” App. It’s so nice to have a receiver that remembers to connect every time you get into your car and start it up. I listen to online radio most of the time, now when I get into the car it pairs up and starts playing the last station every time. The radio reception is good and you can make and receive phone calls when on the road by just tapping on the phone button. Just for those two functions I am more than happy with this unit.Install is very easy for single DIN car dashes, just slip in the tray, bend the tabs out and slide the receiver in to the dash. Wiring is also very easy, just follow the instructions and that’s it. I don’t have amps so I can’t give any feedback on that part.Once its installed you can download the “Smart Sync” app on your phone, I am using Android. I used YouTube videos to get the app up and running, since the instructions that came with the receiver didn’t really have enough information. At least for me.Overall for the price I don’t think you can get a better unit that really does all the things that this one does reliably. They may say they can do everything but its a hassle to keep Bluetooth connected. This unit works great and it stays connected where others don’t. I don’t know why Amazon is asking for review information on the Touch Screen since this unit doesn’t have one?

The contro;s for this are very bad. There is no clear way to vavigate through th efunctions. The Volume dial is also a button to get to a menu. Its way too tuchy and you could get distratced easily while driving because of it. I’d avoid this model.

Pulled out my old pioneer was able to use same cords so it was an easy setup sounds amazing would recommend for anyone

I use it for my small sound system in my car and it works great.bluetooth works pretty well
