Live in the southwest desert and the sun out here can be brutal, especially at sunset. This lens cover does the trick to reduce the amount of glare your camera will pickup. Does it eliminate all of it, no – but it does help. Overall, glad I purchased the item but I do think it might be alittle on the pricey side.

This polarize lens cover for you Garmin Mini Cam 2 is a great addition to your mini cam. When you are driving into very bright sun, or even on sunny days without the sun directly in front, the polarized lens covers allows your Mini Cam 2 to take beautiful video without that washout out appearance. Well worth the extra expense.

I learned of this off of other people’s youtube and reviews. This is a must have item as it greatly improves the picture and video quality of your Garmin dashcam. I have the Garmin 57 and it fits perfectly. My only complaint is that it does seem to be a bit steep in price point. But it is what it is, it’s a Garmin upsale item for sure. Overall, I’m glad I bought it.

This works well to remove quite a lot of glare. It does darken the video a little bit but not enough that it bothers me. The improved contrast and glare reduction is worth it for me personally.

I would say a must have. As others have mentioned with window tint, you might get distortion/rainbow effect so I recommend trying without the filter first.

Garmin this is way too expensive for all it does. Honestly. Makes the camera video better in sunny Southern California though.

I was frustrated with my dashcam always being blinded by bright sun reflected off other vehicles. This solves that problem. I was not certain from the description if it would fit my dashcam but it did. I have not driven at night with it yet, so I don’t know if it effects the recording quality at night.
