This is a quality wrist strap with a good anchor system that lets me easily switch from wrist strap to shoulder strap to no strap. The chord on the anchors are stiff enough to where they don’t flap against the camera when no strap is attached. The quality is good.

Great product quality super comfortable. Nice field to company. Also provides lifetime warranty. If anchors go, bad or strap goes bad recommend 1000%

Over the past few months, I’ve been testing more and more camera gear. The wrist strap is something I never really thought much about until my time with other Peak Design products. Learning how all of their straps work together via their unique Anchor Link system really made me take notice of them and the wrist strap they call the Cuff. When taking my camera on and off tripods, sliders, neck straps, monopods, and now, wrist straps, I like to find ways to cut down on the time between swapping devices. It has been a priority to me. This is the main reason I switched from the Bogen/Manfrotto quick release plate to the ArcaSwiss style quick release plate systems and the same reasoning I have for switching all my straps over to Peak Design straps. I save time and hassle by using the products from Peak Design and it is outstanding. The Cuff is a low profile wrist strap that can be worn as a bracelet so that it is out of the way when it’s not in use but can be quickly applied as a wrist strap by snapping it into place with the Peak Design Anchor Link. I can go from handheld to unstrapped and back on my tripod in seconds. Because Peak Design uses a plate that is designed to work with ArcaSwiss plates I can leave this plate on my camera and switch from the Cuff to the Neck Strap to my Monopod faster than unscrewing a standard strap’s 1/4″ screw from the camera. The Cuff is made out of some incredibly strong materials. The strap features seatbelt-style nylon webbing with an anodized aluminum adjuster hardware while the connectors have anti-abrasion thermoplastic-corded Anchors. The Peak Design Clip is designed to handle over 200 lbs. The Cuff isn’t just for cameras, too. You can use it with binoculars, GoPros, rangefinders, tools, and more. What comes in the box? Peak Design includes the Cuff and two of their Anchor Links. These are a newer style and are not flat like the previous models. They are designed to be easier to clip on. The Cuff also comes with a Peak Design sticker and a small carrying pouch. I can’t really get in words how truly wonderful this is. Needless to say, the Cuff is built very well and feels like it will last a long time. The threading looks like it was tightly sewed and all-in-all, I don’t have any complaints with this product. Some people may say, “Who needs a wrist strap?” I personally feel better knowing my $3500 camera is safely attached to my wrist in the event that it gets knocked loose from my grip. It could happen easily when you are in a crowded room and trying to set up your gear or while you are breaking it down. Getting bumped while shooting interviews or just trying to take a break off to the side can cause catastrophe and having something like the Cuff to ensure that my Canon 5D Mark IV doesn’t smash to the ground is priceless to me. The Cuff might be a bit pricier than other wrist straps on the market coming in at $29.95 but because of the ecosystem that Peak Design has created, it’s worth every penny in my opinion.

It is simple product that just works. I have bought a few Peak Design products recently, they are all excellent but not cheap.

I decided to give this a try after having used a Spider Holster Spider-Pro Handgrip for the the last 8 months. I changed bags and the handgrip design just took up more space in-bag than I liked and it was also harder to take out of my bag with the handgrip. So I decided to give this wrist strap a try. After using it for an all day/evening shoot I can say that I am thoroughly impressed. I attached the anchor to my camera and then when I was using my camera, attached the anchor to the wrist strap. Easy peasy! It stayed out of the way and allowed me to shoot with security knowing had I dropped my camera, it was secure. In fact, at one point I purposefully let my camera go from my hand so I could free up my hand to grab something. The wrist strap cinched around my wrist just like it was supposed to keeping my camera from falling to the ground. What’s more impressive is when I had my camera put away in my bag, the ability to turn this wrist strap into a make-shift bracelet. When I got this strap, I thought it was a novel feature, but I didn’t know how useful the application would be in practice. So I set it up by pushing/pinching the magnet in the strap into the right location so that it would fit correctly around my wrist. During the all-day event, I wrapped the strap around my wrist when my camera was put away. The wrist strap stayed on my wrist and remained comfortable there the entire time. This “bracelet” feature ended up being a really cool feature to me and an additional reason for me to keep this strap.Overall, I am really glad I got this strap and have now replaced my Spider Holster Hand Grip.

The strap feels really well-made, however treading the securing eyelet piece through the Ricoh GRIII eyelet was quite difficult and tedious. However, once it is fitted, it is very secure and confidence-inspiring.

I swear by Peak Design straps for securing cameras and photo gear–this wrist strap is no exception. I’ve used it for about two years with no noticeable wear or change in reliability or comfort. If there is one gripe it’s that the magnet in the wrist loop, which allow you to turn the strap into a bracelet of sorts when not in use, is a little weak and doesn’t always keep the end of the strap in place. However, I rarely use this feature and it works reasonably well the few times I do.I initially considered purchasing other wrist straps or making my own out of leather or paracord, but this one leaves me more than satisfied. I expect it will for years to come.

Very stylish and functional wrist strap. I bought both this and the Peak Design clutch which kind of fills the same niche, and I was planning on trying both and returning the one I didn’t like. However, I ended up keeping both because they are so easy to switch back and forth.Pros:The wrist strap is very stylish and made of quality materials. It is also very strong and instills confidence in the event of a drop.I like that you can wear the wrist strap as a bracelet when you aren’t using it, making it very easy to take out when you need it. If you’re concerned about other reviews about the bracelet size, don’t worry. You can simply shimmy the magnet inside of the strap to where you need it in order for the bracelet to close nicely.Very easy to put on and take off of the camera thanks to Peak Design’s quick release tabs. (comes with an extra one in case the one attached frays)Better than the clutch because you can use this while your DSLR is on a small tripod and being hand held for videos or vlogging.Cons:As others have said, the magnet is not super strong, which means for me, that when I take my backpack off to access my camera, often the strap will graze the bracelet and it flops down. Not a big deal since I needed it at the moment anyway, but I’m trying to be honest.Unlike the clutch it will not take any of the weight of holding the camera off your fingersdue to the design, if you should drop the camera, it would actually dangle (and swing probably) about a foot or so below your wrist. Now, this would maybe save your camera from falling off a cliff or into the ocean, but would it really matter if it swings and hits a railing or something? You may not lose the camera, but it won’t necessarily be safe. Conclusion:Great accessory for your DSLR, and different enough from the clutch to make it worth buying as well. If you already use Peak Design products, that makes this even more valuable for you. I would definitely recommend this, however, if I lost both this and clutch, I would probably only replace the clutch.
