MLILY USA announced that Executive Vice President Glenn Kobylarczyk will assume the duties of President while retaining his current role and title. The company is not seeking to fill the president position at this time.
Kobylarczyk, who joined the MLILY sales team in 2019, was promoted to his current role in February following the passing of company president Stephen Chen in January. Since then, Kobylarczyk has worked closely with CEO Suns Jian to help navigate the company through the unexpected loss and ensure undisrupted operations and service.
“Glenn has been a steady hand at the wheel from the moment of crisis. With his demonstrated leadership, we do not feel it’s necessary to fill the president role in the near future,” said Suns.
An industry veteran, Kobylarczyk has over 40 years’ experience in sales, training and retail management and operations. His bedding career began in 1980 at Chicago-based retailer The Comfort Shop before moving to wholesale where he’s served top brands including Spring Air, King Koil, Comfort Revolution and DreamFit.
“I’m honored to help lead MLILY USA as we enter a new phase of our company, drive product innovation, continue investing in our people, and building the brand among top retailers,” said Kobylarczyk.
