Starfield is (incredibly) the first original RPG titles from Bethesda in 25 years. A semi-realistic Sci-Fi game focused on exploration, the game is set three-hundred years from now in the so-called ‘Settled Systems’, an area of space 100 light-years in diameter around 50 light-years around our solar system that humanity has managed to settle. Two major factions in the game include the United Colonies and the Freestar Collective, who are in the middle of an uneasy truce. Besides this, players will have to contend with pirates, religious fanatics, and all manner of hazardous oddities.

Playing Starfield at 4K on high settings, as with any game at this resolution, will require a very powerful and pricey machine, particularly when it comes to buying a laptop. If you want to play Starfield at 4K on a laptop, our advice is to go for the ASUS Zephyrus S17 with RTX 3080. With a 120Hz 4K display, this is the best option for a 4K gaming laptop, and has the power and refresh rate to actually make gaming at such a high resolution worthwhile, though it is pricey.
