How to Get all the Elden Ring Map Fragments

[ad_1]

Last Updated:

The Elden Ring map fragments will reveal the whole map and highlight several surprises in the Lands Between, such as tunnels, dungeons, castles, and boss arenas.

However, discovering the map fragments is a struggle in and of itself since some are in difficult-to-reach areas or are guarded by bloodthirsty monsters.

Plus, you don’t have an in-game map to take you to them. I guess our guides will have to do!

How do you find all the map fragments in Elden Ring?

Liurnia Lake Entrance Merchant map

The Elden Ring map fragments are usually placed against “beacons.” Beacons are giant stone obelisks with luminous text on them that are easily seen by anybody standing close by. Picking up the object at the bottom of each one is all that is required to reveal the map in that location; however, finding the beacons is difficult in itself!

For novices, if you expose enough of the foggy blankness through exploring, you can see these pillars on the map before you’ve unlocked the piece.

However, later in the game, these fragments are stored on corpses, so you’ll have to look around for them. But if you don’t want to fumble through dangerous terrain without a map, here’s where you can obtain Elden Ring map bits for each of the game’s regions.

Where are the map fragments located in Elden Ring?

We’ve gathered the latest info on all of the Elden Ring map fragments in the Lands Between. To make things easier, we’ve numbered each fragment in the order you’re most likely to encounter them.

  1. Limgrave, West fragment – Probably the first you’ll come across. It’s located in the Soldiers’ camp downhill from the Stormgate.
  2. Limgrave, East fragment – Sorry to break it to you, but this one is surrounded by huge bears. It’s visible on the road whilst you’re in the Mistwood, but be sure to approach with caution, stealth, and your quietest armour to avoid a mauling.
  3. Weeping Peninsula fragment – Located South of the Castle Morne Rampart’s Site of Grace, over on the nearby road.
  4. Dragonbarrow fragment – From the humongous Divine Tower go South and from Draganbarrow West’s Site of Grace bear East, straight on the road.
  5. Caelid fragment – Located along the large road that curves across the South of the swamp, near the merchant.
  6. Liurnia, East fragment – Physical located inside the lake, found North of the Site of Grace, near the merchant Liurnia Lake Shore.
  7. Liurnia, North fragment – Close by the ruins on their South side. Very near to the Academy Gate Site of Grace.
  8. Liurnia, West fragment – Due South from a  giant fortress along the beach, near Northern Liurnia Lake’s Site of Grace and down the hill.
  9. Altus Plateau fragment – Take the left path whilst moving along the road East out from the Great Lift of Dectus.
  10. Leyndell, Royal Capital fragment – Located East of two Tree Sentinels moving about near the Outer Wall Phantom Tree Site of Grace.
  11. Mt. Gelmir fragment – Casually defended by a hand severed from its body. Oh, and it’s a giant hand on top of that. Go down the peak’s slope to locate it.
  12. Mountaintops of the Giants, West fragment – Straight after going up the Grand Lift of Rold, bear right down the path.

Mountaintops of the Giants, East fragment – Located near the Giant’s Gravepost’s Site of Grace, just over the chain South of the fortress.
