South Shore Furniture Makes Its Official Debut in The Outdoor Category

South Shore Furniture, a North American manufacturer of ready-to-assemble furniture, is officially entering the outdoor furniture category with its Dalya collection, which combines great design and high quality.

This new Canadian-made collection exceeded expectations when it was introduced on a small scale last summer, through an exclusive group of retailers, and has been in high demand since then.  

“Consumers increasingly want to create comfy, warm, and welcoming spaces outside of their homes or apartments. We’re seeing strong demand for balcony, garden, and patio furniture,” said Myriam Girard, Product management & innovation specialist. 

This year, the company wants to mark its official launch in this category by further expanding its outdoor product line and bringing the total item count to more than 50 SKUs. The Scandinavian line is made entirely of polyethylene resin, a material that’s highly resistant to heavy weather. These pieces can stay outside all year long, and their colors won’t fade. The collection includes patio chairs, side tables, planters, and decorative birdhouses. All items are in stock and ready to ship, and new colors will be introduced in early March – just in time for summer. 

“Our goal with Dalya was to create a selection of furniture that isn’t too imposing and fits well in these tighter spaces. We gave these pieces a trendy Scandinavian look that adds a light touch. To make people’s lives easier, we also chose a material that’s easy to care for and resistant to heavy weather,” said Myriam Girard.

The collection features trendy and warm colors such as sage green, dark gray, granite, and blush. It was created for the outdoors, but the design and functionalities also make it suitable for indoor use.
