Tunic is one of the best adventure games about foxes since Kingsley’s Adventure (if you get that reference, welcome to your 30s), but it certainly has more teeth than any game about a cartoon fox has any right to have.
Originally revealed back at TGA2021, we won’t have long to wait, as Tunic will be dropping during March 2022. We’ve got the exact release date ready and waiting for you right here.
Tunic Release Date
Unlike so many games in the modern games industry, Tunic is going to have a surprisingly short turnaround time from reveal to release. Heck, TGA2021 was only in December 2021, and barely 3 months later it’ll be coming out in March 2022.
The exact date of release is March 16th, 2022 on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Mac OS X. So far it looks like all of the different versions should be released at the same time, which is nice for Mac gamers who very rarely get thrown a bone in that area.

You’ve probably noticed that Tuni has a lot of similarities with adventure games like The Legend of Zelda, but with more of an isometric slant to it.
In the gameplay that we’ve been treated to so far it looks like the title is going to be absolutely packed with enemies to fight, areas to explore, and puzzles to solve. On top of that, there’s a very charming art style backing the game up and keeping people interested.
