Another week down, so let’s recap. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A73, A53, and A33 – all three with high refresh FHD+ AMOLED displays, 5,000mAh batteries, and 25W charging.
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G will become available in select markets on April 1. Prices for Europe start at €450, the Galaxy A33 launches on April 22, starting at €370. The A73’s pricing is yet to be confirmed.
The Xiaomi 12 series went global. The Xiaomi 12 Pro starts at $1,000/€1,000 for an 8/256GB model, the Xiaomi 12 is $750/€800 for the base 8/128GB model, and the Xiaomi 12X is $650/€700 for an 8/128GB unit.
Honor announced the Magic4 Ultimate for china with a 1/1.12″ main camera sensor, matching the World’s biggest in the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. The Honor Magic4 Ultimate Edition will be available in China later this year at a price of CNY 8,000 ($1,260/€1,140/₹95,600). It will be available in Black and White.
The Redmi K50, K50 Pro, and K40S debuted in China as well. Redmi K50 Pro boasts MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000, the Redmi K50 goes for a Dimensity 8100 chipset, while the Redmi K40S ships with a Snapdragon 870. Redmi K50 Pro starts at CNY 2,999 ($472) for its 8GB RAM and 128GB storage trim. The 8/256GB version retails for CNY 3,299 ($520) while the 12/512GB variant will go for CNY 3,999($630). Redmi K50 starts at CNY 2,399($378) for the 8/128GB trim while the top-spec’d 12/256GB is CNY 2,799 ($440). The Redmi K40S starts at CNY 1,799 for the 6/128GB model, CNY 1,999 for an 8/128GB, CNY 2,199 for the 8/256GB, and CNY 2,399 for the 12/256GB.
Finally, a word on the iPhone 14. New renders seemingly confirm the pill and hole design, instead of the current notch. Meanwhile, Ming-Chi Kuo said that only the iPhone 14 Pro (6.1-inch) and 14 Pro Max (6.7-inch) will have a new A16 Bionic chip, while the A14 (6.1-inch) and A14 Max (6.7-inch) will have an A15 Bionic.
