Over the years I have experimented with the “alternate” ink cartridges for printers but have learned that you eventually pay a higher price because of the lesser quality and possible warranty violation for your printer. Brother cartridges are the best, high quality ink and easy install. Highly recommended.

This high yield version of the color ink is the best for my Brother MFC-J680DW. I have bought several cheaper versions in the past, but they either weren’t recognized by the machine, or didn’t produce enough copies to be cost effective. For printers, it’s just best to go with the brand.
