The Realme GT Neo3 has been frequenting the rumor mill lately and amassing an interesting set of potential specs and details through leaks. Some of these are possibly conflicting, but we’ll still do our best to sum things up. A fresh new leak offers another official-looking render of the upcoming phone – front and back, which matches nicely to an earlier render, as well as TENAA’s photos. The leakster also goes on to list specs, including a 6.7-inch FHD+, 120Hz OLED display – all things we’ve heard before while adding that the panel will offer 10-bit color, which is nice to see.

The 16MP selfie and 50MP+8MP+2MP rear camera setups have also been mentioned before, and so has OIS for the main cam. Though, this might be the first formal mention of the IMX766 sensor. Then there is the bit about the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset. It is not entirely new information, or rather speculation either, since reputable industry insider Digital Chat Station has mentioned the same before. However, all of the other sources, including the TENAA listing, seem to agree on a Snapdragon 888 chipset.
This is where another potential bit of pre-existing info could slot in nicely, namely that there are at least two versions of the GT Neo3 that we currently know of – RMX3560 and RMX3562. We believe the first will have a 4,500 mAh battery with a whopping 150W of fast charging, while the latter is said to pack a 5,000 mAh battery and 80W charging.

Seeing how the new source specifically mentions 5,000 mAh battery capacity, we can only assume the leak refers to the RMX3562 and that it will potentially be the model to use the Dimensity 8100 chipset. Its sibling, the RMX3560, with its 4,500 mAh battery and 150W charging, should, logically, then have the Snapdragon 888 chip.

There is still some guesswork on our part involved here, though, since we do also have yet another recent leak, showing an unreleased Realme 200W charger and adding extra confusion to the mix. Perhaps that’s a whole other separate device that Realme is prepping for the “world’s fastest smartphone charging technology” title holed, promised to arrive on February 28 at MWC. Then again, we are kind of expecting a Realme GT2 global launch at the Barcelona event on February 28, not a GT Neo announcement, so there is clearly still some confusing to clear-up. In any case, the event is right around the corner, so the wait won’t be that long.
