Pistachio Watergate salad is a classic with simple ingredients:
Cool whip
Pistachio instant pudding
Miniature marshmallows
Crushed pineapple with juice
Chopped nuts
Shredded coconut
So many people just call this “the green stuff” when talking about this recipe. It’s so simple to make and so good. Some will comment why is this called a “salad”. - 1 8 ounce cool whip
- 1 3.4 box pistachio instant pudding
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1 20 ounce can crushed pineapple with juice, drained (save 1/3 cup of the pineapple juice and add into recipe)
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts of your choice
- 1 cup shredded coconut
