In this recipe I used nectarines (a type of peach) since you don’t have to peel them and they worked wonderful. If you use peaches you will want to peel them. I sliced the nectarine and put it on top and it add so much to this bread. We love the nectarines since you can easily eat the peel. Just makes it easier, however just peel your peaches if you use those. Super simple!
I have only made tis recipe the way it is written, I haven’t tried it with gluten free flour, yogurt or any other substitutions. This is the way I make this bread.
Nectarines (Prunus persica var. nucipersica) are a type of peach. They’re distinguished by a genetic mutation that gives them smooth skin rather than the characteristic fuzzy skin of peaches. Otherwise, they’re nearly identical.
