These New Year’s Day food recipes are delicious and will keep the holiday tradition alive in your house! It has been a tradition to serve black-eyed peas on New Year’s Day in our family for many years. Serving black-eyed peas along with cabbage is supposed to bring you good luck and financial enrichment during the coming year!

This delicious Black-Eyed Pea Casserole is one of our favorites. So easy to make and the pork sausage with the peas is delicious!

 

Baked Black-Eyed Peas and Smoked Sausage-add turnip greens and cornbread and this is a very traditional southern New Year’s Day dinner.
