NICCCCE!I keep wondering why iPhone users keep buying that overhyped, overmarketed, hipster ‘crayola’ when anyone can take a stroll through aftermarket parts like these and find nothing but stark, sheer, overwhelming….’mess’ over in their trash bin of a shopping cart.I recently tried (in vain) to locate similarly-made (in other words, QUALITY-MADE) charging cables like these for my brother and mom’s iPhone 4S’s, and it was a slap-in-the-face-fest…seriously, who can own one of those…’things’ knowing what you’ll find in your (real) market for aftermarket parts is a bunch of piecemeal, poorly-made, low-low-LOW quality junk like what I had to end up buying for them. Just terrible.THESE, on the other hand (the Android hand), are HI-GRADE, WELL-MADE, QUALITY little patch cables for your Android charging needs, and that’s all there is to it–no junk, no additives, no unnecessary appendages thrown in to ruin the product.They’re just perfect–sturdy, compact, well constructed, with the ends looking more like professional cables than many of the finer audio equipment cables I’ve seen as well (I’ve seen quite a few).Get these, because you’re overdoing it at a base price that’s just great…and because, as Android users, we have awesome choices like this rather that the hodge-podge of…erm, manufactured excrement that’s flooded that ‘other market’.

I needed short cables to connect outdoor cameras without having a big roll of extra cable rolled, these did the trick. They have been outside, under the heave for a few months now and even during the current heat wave have been performing well

I purchased the 1ft cables for 1 reason, charge time, or voltage drop. In comparison to my 6 ft cable, my phone will charge in 1/2 to 1/3 the time, particularly when using a computer to charge the phone. When I use a wall, or car adapter it is not quite 1/3 charge time, more like 2/3 to 1/2 the charge time.Technical Details:With the 1 ft cable, the current has to travel 2 ft, 1 ft to the device, and 1 ft back + distance through the phone. With the larger than standard gauge wire, 22 AWG, it is 0.016 ohms per ft, if I am driving 2 Amps, that is a total voltage drop across the wire of 0.064 V, which means that with a 5 V supply, I am able to deliver 9.872 Watts to the device. On the other hand, for some other cables I own, they are 6 ft long, and 24 AWG, so a smaller wire diameter. If I were to run 2 amps across that wire, which has a total of 0.308 ohms of resistance, then I would have a 0.616 V drop, and see 4.384 V at the device, so 8.768 W. Likewise, the length with affect the inductance and capacitance of the cables. Since phones typically use pulses to charge them, in order to prevent over-charging, you encounter a wave more closely resembling a square wave. Since there is no such thing as a true square wave in real life, due to inductance and capacitance, you would see more of an exponential signal to a DC voltage, then an exponential drop off when the voltage is shut off. This too will become more exaggerated if the cable is longer, causing the signal to more resemble a sinusoidal signal.Since the increased resistance would actually cause the device to see less current as well, because the impedance would essentially slow the flow, the numbers in reality are different. It is sufficient to say that I have seen charge times of approximately 1/2 to 1/3 of what they were previously. As mentioned before, I noticed a significant difference when using a computer to charge the device, and not as significant of a difference when using a wall mounted power supply. The difference is likely due to the power supplies and their supply voltage, the wall supply may compensate for the voltage drop, or run at 0.25 V higher or so, I have not conducted tests on that yet.

I have a iPhone 6s+ with a Mophie pack on it. Even before I put the Mophie pack on it, I bout several cables from eBay and other places, that either did not last long, 3 months, 4 ,months or I would get a message display that said: “This accessory may not be compatable with your device.” It certainly wasn’t, as it stopped charging the phone! I bought the Sabrent 6 pack cable set. They are built tough, they are also packaged in a nice secure box, and also have a small velcro tie with ea. cable, so what ever device your using, if the cable happens to be a little long, you can wrap it up. They are a 22 gauge wire instead of that flimsy stuff sold for more money. These are GREAT!!
