    This thing was super simple to set up. I switched internet providers and our router moved to the other end of the house. So I needed a way to go from Ethernet to Wi-Fi and still have good bandwidth. I got two, one for me and one for my son (does a lot of online gaming). No noticeable decrease in performance!

    It’s amazing that you don’t need a wifi card anymore you can just slap a USB jawn into your PC. The most annoying part is trying to get the drivers installed since the disc they sent wasn’t working for some reason. I get over 100 mbps with this thing. It’s much better than one of the dinky ones without an antenna that only give you 5mbps. Stay away from those.

    Moved to a new house and there was no active cable in the room where I set up my desktop. My daughter suggested trying a WIFI adaptor. The most I push a connection is streaming video/audio.I read that some folks had trouble connecting to their 5G WIFI until they downloaded additional drivers. I am old, and old school, therefore I still have a disc drive on the desktop. I downloaded the drivers off of the included disc, and the adaptor has had no issues connecting to my 5G signal.I am definitely not pushing the WIFI envelope, but I have not had any issues at all.I have purchased quite a few UGREEN products (high speed cables, chargers, etc.) and have never had any issues with their products!
