I’m booking a long flight and originally I was thinking that I would bring my gaming laptop. I though about it amd decided it would be too big to deal with. I looked into portable gaming and ended up get the Switch Lite. I’m really glad I did. It’s perfect for me. I have PC, XBox X, PS4 but no nintendo stuff. It’s been a while since I played nintendo but decided I’d get this because of Mario amd Zelda. This is so small but the graphics are amazing. In my day is was game boy and Game gear. I loved the game gear. You could actually see it at night. This is great. The graphics are better than I expected and it’s so tiny. The screen is big enough but tiny in general. I love the little cartridges. I got a cool little case for my games, screen protector, and case for my Lite. This will take up like no room in my bag. The games are great. Totally happy with this system.

The switch came on time and packaged well. this was bought for my son for his upcoming birthday. So we have not opened it up and started it up yet however, we have previously purchased 3 others for our other children and they all worked fine out of the box..

Great Christmas gift for my son this year. It arrived quickly, and packaging was just as expected. It’s a good size console, which I wasn’t expecting considering it’s the “lite” version. It’s the perfect gaming device for a new gamer just getting introduced.

I own the regular Switch as well. I personally enjoy this one way more. Let me tell you why, because each model has its pros and cons. The regular switch is great if you want to play with other people in person. If you want to bring it out and have other people play with you. It’s great if you mostly play on the couch. That’s sort of where it ends though. The switch is limited on specs. It is 720p in handheld and 1080p in dock. For someone like me who plays on 4k 60fps and 1440p 144hz PC gaming, I don’t need the dock mode. 1080 at 30-60fps just isn’t enough for me to want to use on a TV or monitor. I found myself only using my Switch in the handheld mode. That’s where the Switch Lite comes in. The first thing I notice is the size. It’s smaller, but in a good way. It’s much more mobile and sleek. I love the way it feels. With the smaller size, yes the screen is smaller. But that’s not exactly a bad thing. The screen is smaller but the resolution is the same as the normal switch. It’s still 720p. What that means is you get more PPI (Pixels Per Inch) on the screen. This means your games are less pixelated than a standard switch in handheld. You could say it might be a con that the joycons don’t come off of the lite, but I see it as a plus. The joycons feel a little shaky and I get worried I will bend them or make them loose on the standard switch. You don’t have to worry about that on the lite. The main downs side is it will be harder to fix if your console ends up get stick drift. Either way if that happens it’s not going to be a fun fix, but it’s still fixable. All in all, if you are debating on this or the standard switch, or already own a Switch, I would recommend this if you plan on playing in handheld mode most of the time. It’s the superior choice of the 2 when it comes to hand held.

The photos don’t do it justice. I grew up with Gameboy and super Mario games. I’m also PlayStation fan boy by heart and last time I had Nintendo was the original Wii which I still have. I decided to buy the Gray – Switch Lite since they announced Paper Mario (and rumored Super Mario Galaxy). Nintendo made a smart move by following the trend of remakes because I played these games from night until dawn in elementary school; I am 24 now.I’m so happy I bought the switch lite for its great value. This console is truly pushing the limits to current technology to its maximum. The screen is crystal clear while never compromising the vivid colors and games’ unique styles exclusively on switch & cross platform games. During PS4, I became a huge indie game lover. The second my switch lite came, binge bought a bunch of great games under 9$ with real deals on gems of up to 90% off. My first switch game to buy and play is Planet Alpha (originally 20$ bought for 3.50$) and it’s perfect indie game that truly makes you understand the design of switch lite with comfort and ease; and again never comprising beauty exclusive switch game. The sense of ease and the light portability of the console that does not compromise the beauty of games full immerses you into a personal gaming experience that’s fun at any given moment.I also bought Overwatch on switch, which is also my go to on PS, to try and test my comfort level since I haven’t really played a handheld device in years. Overwatch is a great game to test the comfort on the switch lite because the game utilizes every button on the controller and in a fast paced. After a while it does feel a bit cramped but after adjusting the sensitivity you grow accustomed. OW surprised me so much and it is mind boggling to how they were able to compress the game onto this amazing console.Overall, I am satisfied and excited to spend years exploring the vast and diverse Nintendo library. This console is extremely worth it so far. No doubt Nintendo hit the nail on this console.

If you are planning to only use handheld consoles like the DS, then this is the one for you. The fact it’s a lot cheaper than the standard Switch is a great pro. I will say having had both the Switch Lite and Switch, I quickly wanted the ability to dock and play on TV, as the size can be somewhat uncomfortable for people like me with bigger hands. If this sounds like you, or you don’t care as much about the whole “portable” concept and would rather use it docked more often than not, then I would recommend the regular Switch. From what I experienced, both models have no differences in performance, just that the buttons and Joycon’s are built a little different on the Lite. I didn’t really care for the ones on the Lite, and I experienced stick drift rather quickly.I guess the TLDR is if you enjoy traveling a lot and want a handheld for boredom, this is the right model. But if you have comfort issues with handhelds or don’t travel as much, the regular model would be better for you, despite the $100 difference.

I feet no complaints. It must be working great.

The switch lite doesn’t get as much love as the original or oled but I absolutely love it and it does an amazing job when playing games and feel great in the hands 10/10!
