You have to install the hdd for the 8 channels to work. And have to use a monitor to format the hdd. Not the app. Then it works great, connects quick. Use the app. qr code to connect. very fast. maybe 30 min for the whole replacement install. The motherboard looks just like the old ez-viz one, just smaller components, same brand and electronics. App is better in someways. It’ll take a 4tb wd purple drive no problem. I recommend those.

Great replacement for the older version. This one does not have a cooling fan. The cooling fan on my old DVR kept making noise and finally quit working.

The ease of set-up for the DVR is excellent. I did have some trouble with the app and was routed to some of the best customer care associates I have ever came in contact with by the name of Adeline and Sugar they walked me through step by step for 2 days straight during business hours and responded very quickly. I would definitely purchase from Zosi again. Also the product has a very intensive interface for the TV monitor that it will be showing on.

I bough 2 tb hard driver dvr for replacing 4 tb hard drive the older one was broken . I have 16 camera . But I realize the power keep turn off itself . Machine keep restart it self . After 3 month of purchase. It keep doing the same thing every day . I contacted zois coustomer service online . I email them . The lady from the zois help me go through all the repairs process . But cannot repair . They promised give me a different dvr to replace for free even through it being 3 month . She is really helpful. But finally I replace with 4 tb . I pay 70 more to replace it . I think it was the problem. She Mail the new dvr to us . Don’t have that problem no more . It working fine now . Even though it pass amazon return period. But I think still under manufacture warranty. Contact the company they will solve problem for you

This arrived undamaged and seemingly brand new. The circuit board is very similar to my lighting damaged Samsung that I pulled the drive from.Connecting with the QR codes got me the app but I was not able to connect to the device as it was already registered to another email. I clicked product support on Amazon & it took me to ZosiTech where I submitted my issue on their form. After a couple of weeks, I had not heard anything. Today on the phone app, there’s was link that says you can report the issue. I did so from the app & sent the long device ID number along with Amazon order date & number.Jar with customer service immediately got back with me and said the account had been removed & my device immediately linked up.I like this unit mostly because it has the LED indicators on the front. The rest is very cheap metal but it works so no complaints.

Slina was very patient and very helpful. Giving me every way possible to get my system to work and now it works perfectly. My misunderstanding was the reason it took me so long to figure out that it wasn’t Zosi but that I didn’t do the correct update. Zosi has had my back for years and I’m sure they will for years to come. Thanks again Slina, for all u have done. Go Zosi!!!!

This is the second unit I have from Zosi. The first one was a gift that was to replace another manufacture’s DVR that had stopped working. I installed it and for some reason (operator error I suppose) I mistyped the new password and was unable to get back into the system to make changes. The system still worked with the default settings, however. I ordered another unit plus a 4TB HDD installed with no problem and it is working great. I searched on the internet for a reset that could override the lost password for the original unit and found that I could contact Zosi service website and get a reset password that would put system back to default password (blank). I sent an email and got a response back within minutes. Yotina asked for a few details about the unit and within minutes sent me a reset code that I entered in the password field which reset the unit. I then carefully put in my new password so that I could remember, and all is well. I now have two working systems and may install the extra one in my daughter’s business address.

I purchased this new system to replace my previous one as it failed. It was easy to install and worked perfectly from the beginning. I had a problem using the app and after emailing with several Zosi representatives, Ariana was able to provide excellent instruction and information. The next system I buy will definitely be another Zosi system or perhaps a standalone Zosi Wi-Fi camera. I highly recommend any of their products for anyone who is looking for security or monitoring of their home or business. These are high quality systems and they are easy to use, install, and set up. They are well worth your time and money. A+++
