I got this for my mom for Christmas, she wanted a TV in her kitchen, but running a cable to the kitchen would have been a nightmare. Instead I paired this TV with a Roku, and she can take it anywhere.I was super-impressed with the TV, I didn’t know the brand, and it was relatively inexpensive, so other than the other positive reviews, I didn’t have high expectations. This TV is amazing, the packaging alone shows that the company cares about their product. It also comes with a ton of options for mounting, connecting, and powering the TV. The picture quality was great, with good of-angle viewing. All the parts of the TV seem solidly built. I didn’t remember reading that it has FM radio, but it does, making this TV particularly useful in case of a disaster, as it picks up both radio and TV signal over the air, while running off of battery. The only thing I might have wanted was a carrying handle, but I’m certain that the VESA mounting holes on the back could be adapted to add a handle.TLDR : Top notch portable TV, don’t look elsewhere, I’m already ordering a second one for myself. With the Roku plugged directly into the TV it powers on and streams video perfectly. I was worried there might not be enough power provided by the USB port, and that I might need a secondary USB pack if it was going to be used off of battery power, instead it seems quite content to power the TV and Roke off of the TV’s built in battery. I’m sure the runtime goes down a little bit powering the Roku as well, but I was impressed it worked so well.

So far this is a very nice tv. Obviously, you wouldn’t put it in the same class as a larger tv but for what is made for it does the job. Also, it picks up a number of channels.

Very pleased with this portable TV set. It is affordable, well-built with good sound quality and picture. It also has an FM radio. The remote is not flimsy. It arrived well-packaged. It was easy to setup, except installing the stand was a little tricky. It will be handy in case of a power outage. The rechargeable lithium battery should work up to 3 hours when fully charged, and the FM radio can be used to check weather conditions.

Resolution is not that good. Bright colors but not HD. At first, I thought it was kinda light. Then I realized the monitor has to be tilted a bit to get a better view/Resolution. I’m old school, I like the FM radio feature. Transmission is not that good, but it’ll do. TV doesn’t work, can’t get any channels. What I like overall is the portability. Then, the multi-features.Update 12.4.23: I got the Roku Streaming Stick 4K. Initially, it wouldn’t pair with this Tyler TV. It’s an unknown brand. I then paired it with a known brand, and it worked. Switching back to this Tyler TV, just like that, it is now also paired with the Roku stick. It now works!Update 12.5.23: The Roku remote works except the on/off and the volume. I still need to use the TV remote in conjunction. Overall, I really love the portability (+ built-in battery) that I can take it anywhere, even to the bathroom! No viewing interruption. I’m upping my rating to 5.

This TV has a great picture, and it takes up very little space in my sewing room. It’s so lightweight that I can easily move it wherever I want to, and I’m able to pick up at least 20 channels.

We needed a small LCD TV for the cabin of our small boat, but we also needed the functionality that this TV provides.1) The tuner is sensitive and locks onto digit signals very well, and rivals the sensitivity of our OTA TABLO Tuner. We are cord cutters, so having a sensitive tuner for over the air (OTA) broadcast stations is important.2) The unit can accept SD card or USB thumb drive media containing video files, We tape our favorite OTA TV shows on our ViewTV box, and wanted the ability to play some of these programs on a TV without needing to use our ViewTV box on the boat. While this manufacturer does not support .mts files (from ViewTV), there are plenty of free converters on line. We converted some of our recorded .mts files to .MP4, using a free software program (Smart Converter), and placed these files onto a SD card formatted for MS-Dos. It works beautifully well.3) We tested out the FM radio, and it works well, too.4) It is easy to make adjustments to the picture display such as contrast and brightness.5) This is a high def set, and the picture is impressive. Also, it does not have a wide viewing angle, but still is reasonably good for us.6) The sound is surprisingly good for such a small set, and does not sound tinny. It has a good amount of base relative to its size, and the settings also allow for simulated and true surround sound.7) It can run from a 110V power supply with power adapter, directly from an automobile 12V system by plugging into the lighter receptacle, and it can run on internal batter power.8) It can utilize cableTV input at marinas, but I have not yet tested this function yet9) The manufacturer provides an absurdly easy to use, quick release stand, a separate pull out stand on the back of the unit (like a picture frame foot), and means for connecting it to wall-mounted arm.10) The unit comes with a FM antenna and a magnetic monopole UHF antenna. As a criticism, we wish the screen was not glossy, but it is acceptable. Further, we wish there was a way to expand 4:3 content to wide format to fill the entire screen. Perhaps we are getting too picky, because even 4:3 covers a good amount of screen. This unit truly does it all, and is exactly what we were looking for. Going forward, what we don’t know is how long it will last. So the date of this review is March 27, 2019. If it fails in the future, I will write an addendum to this review to let people know. If we get 2+ years of light use from this unit, we will be very pleased. Living in the cabin of a small pilothouse boat can be very prone to clutter, so a small unit like this that has all those self-contained features is a Godsend.

After reading the reviews prior to buying, I was somewhat concerned by other’s feedback but took the chance. I’m glad I did, during a major storm just 2 week’s after purchase, full charge and programming. I was’nt sitting in the dark I was watching TV. You can expect some channel’s will have bad reception and need antenna adjustment. For myself I received far more than I expected too. the charge lasted 5hr.10min. no bull. instead of a lemon I lucked up to a nugget. Hope you’all get lucky too.

Great for watching the game while helping my wife prepare dinner. You know, those 3:30 games and around 5:00 my wife wants me to chop an onion or stir something, so I keep this on in the kitchen. I live in Dallas and get OK reception on Fox, but got a lot better reception with an after market antenna.*** You will need to buy “Quick Connect Cable TV Connectors F Type Push On Quick Coax Adapter for Coaxial Cable” to get most better antennas to fit into the TV’s recessed coax plug.

Excellent portable TV. Great quality. I can scan more than 70 channels with the antenna. It’s a perfect option for when having an emergency or power outage.

Just the right size for a small RV, I also use it when the electricity goes off.
