My TV came with the same exact model remote, however it expired after some years – not sure why/how – I changed the batteries, and it still could not function so I opted to buy this remote as its replacement and it works perfectly. There was no setup required, you just pop some batteries in and you’re good to go.

I got this remote because the Samsung TV I got came with that remote that’s used for streaming. Just to watch regular TV, the remote that came with the TV, I seem to have to go through many steps to use it. Unless I’m doing something wrong. So since this remote was inexpensive, it works great switching channels while watching regular TV

Worked without too much fuss! Easy to use and seems to be exactly like the originally. Kids dropped the first one so hoping this one lasts longer.

I had a pair of the generic remotes and they worked sometimes, you had to keep pressing the buttons and then it worked. Once I stop using the remote it was like it lost the connection. This NEW remote works every time, no frustrations when using after not using it for a while, grab, point, press and BAM! Works.

Put our batteries in (prefer high quality no leakers) and works perfect. All buttons same as remote that came with TV originally. Much better than generic remote.

I originally bought one, because my TV from Costco was a floor model, and didn’t have one. That one worked great until I accidentally spilled tea on it. Bought the replacement, which came quickly, and it works perfectly. No need for codes. Just add batteries and use.
