    I have a 14TB Desktop HDD, but a USB C laptop to use it with. NEEDED a longer cable and this turned out better than hoped for! Maybe I overlooked it in the description, but the cable has a woven texture, not rubber that attracts grime. Looks great, though that was of minimal importance to me. Speed of data transfer seems dependent on the device, not the laptop now.My old “ideal solution” was a 3 foot USB A to USB B Micro 3.0 cable connected to an 3 foot USB A to USB A extender, plus an adapter – which failed. Something had to change because 3 foot and an adapter was too short for comfort.Perfect solution for my needs.
