How did we get our start?
It all began back in 2010. Smartphones were just starting to take off and navigation apps were becoming a part of everyday life. The concept was simple, but innovative: design a product that makes navigating on your smartphone while driving safer and easier. From this novel idea came a line of best-selling car mounts.
What makes our products unique?
All of our products are designed from the ground up by our team of engineers in New York City. By treating each new product as a work of art, we hope to change the way people interact with and feel about tech accessories.

I’ve been using the iOttie One Touch since the 3rd version came out many years ago. They are fantastic. Easy to set up, stable, and in the Texas heat with a black interior, they last surprisingly long. I get about two years out of each one before the suction cup fails. Up until now, I’ve never had any interaction with their customer service because I’ve never needed to. The product just works as intended out of the box for multiple years in the harshest conditions you can reasonably expect to put a phone mount through outside of some kind of extreme sport something or other. This time, though, I dropped the screw that connects the suction arm and the mount arm and my car ate it; vanished without a trace. Totally my fault, nothing to do with iOttie. I emailed their customer service to see if I could just buy the screw or if I needed to buy the whole thing again. They said “no worries, just submit a warranty claim.” Even though “I lost a part” isn’t normally covered under a manufacturer defect warranty. So I did. Got the part maybe three days later. It was the wrong screw. Now I’m in a bit of a pickle. They did me a favor by warrantying a part that I lost when they didn’t need to. But they sent the wrong part. Can I really be annoyed at a mistake in a gratis replacement? So I shot them another email explaining the issue. They said “no worries, we’ll send you a new screw, the right one this time.” About three days later, I get a whole new unit. Straight-up replacement. That’s fantastic customer service.

It’s been 2 weeks. The phone doesn’t jiggle hardly at all when I’m driving, a wire management tab on the back is way more helpful than I thought it would be, and nothing has broken on me yet! I strongly recommend you stick it to your dashboard and not your window because it has a glue on the bottom and yes, this is the kind that’s going to leave a residue on your dashboard. I really wanted to avoid that kind, but this is honestly the best car phone holder I’ve ever had out of the four I’ve tried so I don’t regret it. I’ll deal with getting the glue off if I ever have to move it.

This phone mount has a simple, easy to use, design that just works how it should. It stays in place very well, doesn’t move around too much, and is easy to get my phone in and out of. The way that the clasps snap into place is very satisfying and makes me sure my phone won’t fall out.One word of advice though, make sure you get the location right for where you want to place it the first time. The sticky pad is the best surface to attach it to, and there is no removing it and replacing in–it is just too sticky for that. Which is a good thing, but just get it right the first time.So overall, this product is really great!

The installation is quick and easy. Very sturdy device and putting the phone into the holder is so satisfying since it catches the phone securely in place in a split second.

I’ve gone through about 10 different phone mounts over the years trying to find “the one,” and this might be as close as I’m getting.First, one of the key features of this model is that it comes with a mounting plate. This makes mounting much easier and gives you more options as you can stick it nearly anywhere and have a smooth, flat surface to mount the holder. The dashboard of my truck doesn’t have many places that are flat enough to mount a phone holder, and this created a lot more options. The place I chose to mount is too textured for a suction cup to grip, but the mounting plate sticks no problem. The suction on the mount is incredible. Even with it turned “off”, the grip is still rock solid. I actually drove around for a day with it “off” and the mount never let go. To remove from the mounting plate though is easy, simply pull up on the tab and “peel” the suction cup off. It will take a little effort, but that’s good! The all joints on the arm are “indexed” with interlocking teeth, which means once it’s tighted down it won’t move, at all. It also won’t (cannot) loosen up over time from vibration/wear. Adjustability is great, too, though this particularly model won’t extend fore/aft if if that is a concern. Now, the phone grip is just as good as the rest of the mount. Lightly press your phone into the mount and the arms snap close, tightly gripping your phone. My phone is relatively heavy (Google Pixel 7 in a Google branded hard case), and it does not move, AT ALL. My truck isn’t the smoothest riding vehicle and Michigan roads aren’t great either, but this is the first mount I’ve used that shows zero movement or vibration. It’s rock-solid. I’ve tried several highly reviewed magnet mounts, and none come even close to this stability.Removing the phone is easy. I can do it one-handed, simply squeeze the “wings” together and the jaws pop open and lock. The only minor issue I have with the mount is that the phone tends to sit every so slightly crooked, which only is an issue as the bottom charge port is sometimes off-center and partially blocked by one of the lower “jaws” of the mount. I can usually just nudge the phone a bit to adjust, or at worst take the phone out and try again paying more attention to how it’s oriented before closing the jaws. All in all, seems to be an excellent product with good design and better than average construction and details.

I’ve owned 3 of these phone holders from iOttie now in 3 difference cars. This specific model is the most recent innovation of the device. Amazingly it was the cheapest on Amazon, at $20 for me when I purchased it a month ago. It’s lighter and much more refined than the older one, which I’ve owned multiple of. It feels higher quality and there’s no play in the joints/hinges/springs/buttons. Everything moves when told, and moves with purpose. It’s solid and I really appreciate this over the previous edition. The phone cable holder is FINALLY integrated INTO THE PRODUCT. It doesn’t use a silly adhesive magnet that they expect you to install on the device and your cable any longer. Just a simple rubber bushing to slot the cable into, however works best for you.It comes with an adhesive circular base plate to stick onto your dash, which the sticky suction cup is supposed to hold onto, but the base plate actually did not work with the old hard “leather” in my 2006 focus. Instead, I put the suction cup directly onto the dash and it hasn’t moved once. This is something I attempted with the older model, only for the suction cup to be too weak to hold onto the surface without the base plate installed first. I’m amazed how much nicer this is for the price and it was perfect for me.

I have always hated using phone holders in the car because either getting my phone into it, out of it, or both is super awkward and difficult and annoying… let alone if I need to plug it into the charger, or tilt it to avoid glare or something. But!! After searching everywhere, and reading and watching loads of reviews… I found one that works. This really does work. I have a fully loaded “wallet” phone case on an iphone 11/12, and I can literally just shove my phone straight back onto this holder and the holder snaps into place around it. When I want to remove the phone, all I have to do is grab these two prongs (one on each side) near the bottom of the holder and push them inward toward the phone till I feel a click, and the phone releases from the holder. I don’t have to worry about being precise or getting an angle just right with either of these things. And if I want to plug a charger in (or unplug) it’s easy to do that while the phone is in the holder. I do it all the time now just because I can. I’m so happy now! Things are finally coming together for me – 2024 is gonna be my year!

The main reason I wanted this specific item is it accommodates a cell phone with case and my pop socket. Turns out many of similar items, will only hold a phone without a case. Well, who uses a phone with no case anymore?!I cannot stress enough how much I love this for my car. I’m older and not super savvy with my phone in the car. Especially road trips & directions. I always have to have a navigator to read to me what is next.Very easy to assemble , directions are simple and mount on the dash. I just visualized where I want my phone screen to be in order to read it safely while driving. Attached it and adjusted once I put my phone it. Perfect! The arm is also adjustable by a small button Highly recommend

I drive about 5 miles on hard-packed shale roads to get to the highway. There are hard ruts, bumps, and washboard.I have a Galaxy Fold 3, in a case. The phone is bigger than the arms that hold it on the bottom and sides, but it still held the phone through all the rough road.I have no complaints about the phone holder. The phone holder was tilted down some from where I originally had it when I first started driving, but that could be that I didn’t tighten the nut enough. Once I got to the highway and re-adjusted the position, it held. If tightening the nut doesn’t fix it, it’s still worth having it and giving it 5 stars.

I honestly don’t know what I was doing with my life before I finally decided to do some research and find a good phone mount for my car and ran into this bad boy. I opted for the CD slot option, because I hate having anything blocking my field of view, and this one is out of the way of my windshield, yet still perfectly within my line of sight. This thing LITERALLY changed my life. I no longer have to fumble with the aux cord. I no longer drop my phone when I’m trying to switch up a tune or GPS. I no longer have to hold my phone when I get a call in. I no longer have to have my phone take up a cup holder space (first world problems, am I right? LOL). When I installed it, I literally drove to my parent’s house just to show it to my family and redubbed it the Life Changer 3000. XD My sister instantly bought one too as a gift for another friend. Installed correctly, the thing is sturdy, doesn’t budge, and my cord no longer gets tangled (and therefore will stay in good condition longer- can’t tell you how many of those that have gone through throughout the years). Just get it, bruv.
