I had reservations about buying these. I thought they would be brittle or cheap plastic. No, they aren’t thomas and Betts with a metal tab. Yet, they still flex well and lock tight. The added snips and case are a nice bonus. I’ll buy these again.

No regrets, would buy again for the price. No issues found thus far. I use to zip ties wires for av electronics & I do a lot commercially. Great buy

There was a time when people used duct tape to fix all of their problems, but that time has passed. Now we have learned that zip ties are far superior at fixing things! Well not really, but they do have an amazing number of uses.This set contains 1000 zip ties – and while it seems like a lot… it really is a lot. Although there are plenty of times I connect two (or more) zip ties together in order to increase their circumference. for example somethiem I connect the zip ties end-to-end like when I am fastening an inflatable bounce house to the air pump. Other times I simply interlock the rings of two zip ties…. like when I need to connect something to a wooden fence.Notes– Comes with a carrying case – which is a great way to keep them organized- snips are included. While it’s not necessary to snip the excess plastic off the end of a zip tie it does help keep it more tidy.- The claim is that these zip ties will support 60 lbs… my guess is that might be underselling them a bit. I know I have not had an issue with any of them breaking or pulling apart.

I use zip ties for many things around my home & property, & these are excellent- they’re large & very strong. About 10 years ago, I constructed huge raised beds for growing lots of organic tomatoes, & I use a number of zip ties to secure shade cloth to the surrounding fencing. After a year, most of the zip ties break off due to the temperature extremes (freezing in winter & high summer heat) so I’m always replacing them, & I’m really delighted to have these- especially because they promise resistance to UV, heat, cold & fire. They feel like they’ll hold up well, & they’re the size I prefer. Another place I use them is to secure a length of 2 by 4 to a heavy metal grate that goes across a swale- hard to explain exactly, but good zip ties are essential. In case you’ve never thought about it- should you ever need larger ones than these, they can easily be linked together- that’s what I have to do for my swale grate- hook 2 of them together so they’re long enough- then they get the job done perfectly. Zip ties are just one of those things I always have to have on hand- though 1000 will take me a while to use up. You can secure tarps, plants, cables, & so many other things- when you need strength but maybe not permanence. This package deal is impressive- they came in a very useful (re-useable) plastic case, & even came with a snipping tool- I didn’t expect that, it was a very nice touch. I’m ever so glad I came across these & had the good sense to order them.

This is a huge kit of zip ties. While I did find it strange that something like zip ties needs to come in a plastic case since it’s not exactly an item that needs to be protected or kept dry, it is nice to have a way to keep it together. Part of me still feels a bag would be easier.I was pleased with the included flush cut snips since I didn’t expect them. They worked really well and are a great addition. The zip ties themselves are good quality. I wasn’t able to easily break them and the material used doesn’t seem to be cheap. They seem to beat out the ones you would find at most box stores.The only downside to this kit is that all of the 1000 zip ties are the exact same size. I can’t take away points from the seller on this, because it’s as advertised, but having a large kit like this, with a storage case, would be of more value if it had even a couple different sizes for various things. However, these are the most commonly used size and it’s still a worthwhile set.No other issues, if you want to stock up on zip ties this is a great way to do it.
