These onion soup roasted potatoes make a great side dish for any meal. They are SO easy, and I bet your family will love them. You can make this recipe your own by adding additional spices, or you could even add more vegetables to this dish. You could easily add kielbasa or smoked sausage, too. I love that they don’t take long to make on a busy weeknight for dinner, and the soup mix gives them a delicious flavor.

Onion Soup Roasted Potatoes
These delicious roasted potatoes are super easy to make. They would be a great addition to any meal.
Servings: 4 servings
- 2 pounds potatoes or about 5 or 6 medium sized potatoes You can use any kind of potato.
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1 teaspoon black pepper optional
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder optional
-
Wash and cut unpeeled potatoes into chunks. I make 2 bowls and toss potatoes in olive oil and then in onion soup mix that is whisked together with black pepper and garlic powder.
-
Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Spread potatoes on sheet and bake in preheated 425 degree oven for about 40 minutes or until nicely browned and cooked. Turn potatoes with spatula after 20 minutes.
I don’t add salt because the onion soup has salt in it but you can add any spices you like.
