Strawberry banana cake made with fresh strawberries is so good! This is the perfect summer cake and your family will love it! The combination of fresh strawberries and bananas is so refreshing. Cream cheese
Vanilla flavoring
Confectionery sugar
Strawberries, mashed
If you have frosting leftover I suggest keeping it, its such a delicious frosting! We love to serve this with ice cream on the side and then pour extra frosting over the ice cream! It’s wonderful.

Strawberry Banana Cake
This easy cake is one you will make over and over. Made with a cake mix and topped with a delicious strawberry frosting, your family and friends will think you spent hours in the kitchen!
Servings: 1 cake
- 1 box Pillsbury Moist Supreme Strawberry Cake Mix
- 1 (3.4 ouncbox instant banana cream pudding and pie filling
- 1/3 cup oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 ripe banana mashed
- 1 cup fresh strawberries topped, washed, and mashed
Strawberry Frosting
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine softened
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
- 1 to 1.5 cups confectionery sugar
- 1 cup strawberries mashed

Blend cake mix, milk, pudding, oil and eggs in a large bowl until moistened. Beat with a mixer for approximately 2 minutes. Fold in bananas and strawberries. Pour into a sprayed bundt pan or cake pan of your choice. Cook in preheated 350 degree oven 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted into cake come out clean. Let cool for 10 to 12 minutes. Turn onto a plate. Add frosting.

I made the following frosting to pour over this cake. If you use this frosting, cake will need to be refrigerated. If you want to frost the entire cake, you will need to double this recipe.
Frosting Instructions

Cream together cheese and margarine, add vanilla and strawberries. Add confectionery sugar until frosting reaches desired consistency. Pour over cake. Garnish cake with addition strawberries if you like.
Frosting recipe will do an entire cake. Can cut in half to just drizzle over cake. You could also do this cake in a 9 x 13 baking pan.
